Who we are

DesiLu's Pet Boutique LLC ("DesiLu's", "we") runs a pet grooming boutique at Park Pointe Plaza, 12926 Mukilteo Speedway, Suite E-12, Lynnwood, WA 98087. This policy covers our website and the DesiLu's Pet Boutique app for iPhone and Android.

What the app stores

When you create an account in the app, you enter your name, phone number and email. You can also add pet details (name, breed, age, weight, care notes and a photo), vaccination expiry dates and photos of vaccination records, and appointment requests.

Your pet details, photos and vaccination records are stored on your own phone and are not uploaded.

What the app sends to DesiLu's

To let us confirm your visits and send you updates, the app creates a private, password-free account for your phone. When you request an appointment, it sends your name, phone number, your pet's name, the services, your groomer preference, your notes and the requested time to DesiLu's booking records. It also saves a notification token so we can tell you when your pet is checked in, being groomed or ready for pickup.

These records are stored with Supabase, our database provider, on servers in the United States. Notifications are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android and Apple Push Notification service on iPhone. Only DesiLu's staff can see your visits.

Appointment requests

When you request an appointment, the app or website can also open your phone's own text message or email app with a prefilled message to us. That message is only sent if you press send. We use it, and the booking record above, to confirm your appointment.

Camera, photos and notifications

The app asks for camera or photo access only when you choose to add a pet photo or a vaccination record. It asks for notification permission only to send you updates about your appointments and your pet's visit. You can turn these off at any time in your phone's settings.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, except the service providers named above that run our booking records and notifications, or as required by law. The app has no ads and no third-party tracking.

Website

Our website shows a Google map of our location, which Google may load under its own privacy policy. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Children

Our website and app are meant for adult pet owners and are not directed to children under 13.

Deleting your information

Deleting your account from the Account screen in the app removes everything on your phone and deletes your account, visit records and notification tokens from DesiLu's booking records. Deleting the app alone only removes what's on your phone. To ask us to delete text messages or emails you've sent us, see our account deletion page or contact us.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
